1st day internship...

WE HAVE A LAZY BOY IN OUR OFFICE!!!! A FREAK'N LAZY BOY! We will ignore the fact it's all beat up and located in an audiology booth, it just makes reading about code reds and infectious diseases so much better!

Also, we discovered there are Canada Geese (who lay big globs of green poop all over) and bunny rabbits in our backyard.

P.s. there are plenty of pictures to come once SaskTel arrives with our TEN DOLLAR A MONTH Internet connection on Friday (the second option we had was a DIAL UP connection for even more money.. Beep beep beep)!

Regina: Day 1

Sooooo... After a buttload of turbulence, we have begun our new lives as 'Giners (a term we coined this am when K's mom asked what do you call ppl from Regina). However, you coulda fooled us because it almost seems like we never left Montreal! First, we saw POUTINE at the cafeteria where we are staying (don't worry, we will provide a detailed review of it as soon as we try it). Secondly, we met three lovely older ppl at Brunch... Who were speaking French, wearing habs gear and from Montreal! K's eyes lit up since it meant she could talk French! OMG!!!

We are also now proud members of the SafeWay club (we even got a card)! We feel so privileged and honored!!!

First off, thanks to JM for the clever blog name! :p

We are two students who, due to a twist of fate, ended up in Regina rather than in the country-that-will-not-be-named (hint: it rhymes with Shmireland) for our final internship.

Over the next 3 months, we will chronicle our adventures as we adjust to life in the prairies.

Our flight leaves from Montreal this evening... and our rambling will begin as soon as we're set up (with an internet connection).
